Just when we thought the beef between Meek Mill and The Game had finally taken a back seat, Remy Ma’s new diss track had to go and rile up the old flame.
For a refresher, their profanity-laced feud escalated quickly over the past year, with The Game citing their tension beginning all the way back in June 2016 when Meek Mill allegedly snitched to the LAPD regarding the robbery of Sean Kingston’s jewelry.
After allegedly catching the Philadelphia rapper “like” a video game meme depicting his ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj being beaten up by Remy Ma, The Game criticized him for his perceived lack of loyalty.
“This the type of hoe shit I hate,” he wrote. “This lil bitch @meekmill aka Meesha salty cause his woman left em. Instead of being a REAL NIGGA & leaving the situation with ya head up standing tall, you in ya feelings so you get her house robbed & do fuck nigga shit fronting for the followers she gave you… liking pictures & leaving comments on posts that disrespect the woman who gave you life, actually loved yo dusty ass, bought you shit you couldn’t ever afford on yo own & even stood by your side when Drizzy bodied you.. instead of leaving yo bum ass like she should’ve, she held yo skinny rat face havin ass down !!!”
The call-out came a day after Remy Ma released her scathing diss record aimed at Nicki Minaj titled “ShETHER.” The seven-minute track arrived following Minaj’s fiery verse on Gucci Mane’s “Make Love.” In the song, Remy referenced the Queens lyricist’s former relationship with Meek Mill.
“And I saw Meek at All-Star; he told me your ass drop/He couldn’t f–k you for three months because your ass dropped/Now I don’t think you understand how bad her a– got/The implants that you had put in her ass popped!/I was like, “Damn, 90 days and you couldn’t have box?/Did she at least compensate, start giving you mad top?/Her name Minaj, right? She ain’t throw you some mad thots?”/He said “Nah,” that’s when I knew you was really a trash bop,” Rem rapped.
