Justin Bieber has cancelled the remaining dates of his Purpose World Tour. There are 14 remaining concert dates, including concerts in Texas, Colorado, New Jersey and California. The “Sorry” singer also pulled the plug on shows scheduled in Japan, Singapore and the Philippines.
According to a source, the pop star made the call on his own after much consideration. “It wasn’t a decision made overnight,” says an insider. “He’s had some time off and was able to consider his commitments.”
Bieber has been on the road in support of his well-received comeback album, Purpose, since March 2016, playing 154 concerts across North American, Asia, Europe, Africa, Latin America and Australia. He was scheduled to start a seven-city stadium leg in North America on Saturday in Arlington, Texas, before a string of dates in Asia in September and October.
