Young Thug Gets Sued After A No Show At The New York Concert

Young Thug has been hit with a $360,000 lawsuit by a New York event organizer, Nicholas Fitts, who had to cancel a concert Thug was scheduled to headline after the rapper failed to perform. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Thug had signed a hefty contract to perform at Sahlens Stadium in Rochester, New York as part of Roc Summer Explosion.

The lawsuit says Young Thug, whose, name is Jeffrey Williams, had signed a $55,000 contract to play an August concert at Sahlens Stadium in Rochester, New York and “did not have a valid legal reason” for skipping the show. Fitts says he lost more than $200,000 in lost tickets sales, in addition to about $57,000 in promotional costs.

Fitts breaks down his costs in the lawsuit as follows, $27,500 for a deposit; $11,216 in security costs; $33,600 for lighting and sound; $57,446 in printing, promotion, venue rental, insurance and equipment.
